  • A behind the scenes clip of 'A New Dawn' by graduate photographer Mathew Scott @mat_scott_ 'A New Dawn:' is an explorative revisit back Into the area where I grew up. As I am turning 21 and finishing my degree in University, I was experiencing many moments where I found myself longing for my childhood. Often, the reminiscence of the landscape, the woods and the people from back home, were continually on my mind. During my time away from there, my family, friends and I wasn't noticing the changes that we had been through. However, with my first visit back home, it quickly came to me how much everything had changed. We had both matured and altered at the same time. 'A New Dawn' is a walk through the mind of my nostalgia, the unexplainable feeling of returning and recollection of a past time. This glimpse at a post-apocalyptic future is a still for Matt Winning's Edinburgh Fringe show 'It's The End of The World As We Know It'. Winning is a stand up comedian with a PhD on Climate Change and his comedy show, which is on now, runs until the end of the @edfringe festival.   • We're pleased to showcase this wonderful portrait from Brighton based photographer @laura.aldington 'A Small Valley Among Trees' is A documentary series following Laura Aldington’s return to her hometown and her father, following his diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia. The work reflects isolation but also the incontestable resilience that living with schizophrenia encompasses. Revisiting Peterborough allowed Aldington to approach the work with a fresh perspective, reflect emotionally on her own relationship with her father and the familiar landscape in which she once called home. Through a series of intimate portraits, landscapes and interiors, Aldington’s work subtly approaches pre-conceptions and fears surrounding her father’s illness while not to dispute the unassailable softness and innocence that underlies.
