Hi James, thank you for taking the time to share your virtual photography with us. Could you tell us a little about how you started your virtual photography and the creative journey it took you on?
So virtual photography has come a long way with the development of technology.  My interest in this was first piqued on the Forza Motorsport forum and seeing a section labelled forzatography. Before me was a selection of photos that I couldn’t believe had come from a game.  People who were great influences for me within the community displaying a creativity I did not know could come from a video game photomode.
Fast forward approximately 4 years and I feel I have developed an understanding and a love for an art form we term forzatography.  This play on words comes maybe not surprisingly from taking photos within the hugely popular Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon race series.
Within the Forza Horizon series, we have a stunning open world to explore awash with beautiful scenery and points of interest.  Forza Motorsport is a long-running track-based simulation at the forefront of the genre for many year filled with world-famous race tracks.
Both games have a fully-fledged photomode with the inclusion of handy tools such as a panning mode and within the horizon series temperature control and bokeh effects.

You've mentioned that you've found a lot of creativity through the use of 'photomode' in both GTSport and Forza Motorsport. As you progressed over the last four years, Have you found yourself using any editing software to further enhance your work?

Yes, Initially I was reluctant to do any outside editing but over the last year and a half I've been learning and evolving my skills in Adobe Lightroom.  It’s a process I thoroughly enjoy and gives an even greater level of creativity than I could have imagined in the beginning.

A big thank you to the Prspxctvs photography team who I was a part of for so long and PTG Forza who I represent at the minute.  A special mention has to go to the thriving community that can be found across Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
